PERFORMANCE CLASS - THE EVOLUTION OF THE PIANO

Performance Classes are designed to give enrolled students the opportunity to perform for one another and connect with other fellow students. Students may also attend with no intention on performing and come as a supportive audience member. The second half of the class is usually reserved to cover a music history or music theory topic. Regardless if performing is your thing or not attending this class benefits in learning more about music and it’s included as part of your tuition!

This upcoming class will discuss the evolution of the Piano. Looking at instruments like the Harpsichord and Clavichord influencing the construction of our instrument that we know today. Featuring a Live performance of: François Couperin - Les Barricades Mystérieuses

ONLY ENROLLED STUDENTS CAN ATTEND
-Class starts at: 6:45pm and ends no later than 7:45pm
*May end earlier as this class is dependent on willing participants
-ONLINE STUDENTS wishing to attend must notify your teacher to be included on the FaceTime Call

This upcoming class will potentially feature piano ensembles and duos if there are enough individuals signed up. In the event that there are no participates a music topic will be announced as we approach this day. :)

Recording submission deadlines

For those wanting a performance included in our next upcoming Virtual Concert set to release in mid-September 2026: Pianist should submit a recording prior to June 24th, especially if you choose to only take 1 lesson per summer month.

For those keeping an active weekly lesson schedule your final deadline to submit a recording is August 26th.

Participating in a recital is always optional.
You can choose to record at home or utilize your lesson time to record in our studio.

It takes a lot of prep and many times the ensemble piece is written by your teacher to give the utmost best experience for students playing recognizable tunes with their group. Forms can be sent in via the link above or printed forms are available at the studio.
