Participating in a recital is always optional.
You can choose to record at home or utilize your lesson time to record in our studio with our professional equipment.

What does this mean?: We are back on a full-time weekly lesson schedule where you are invoiced for all scheduled lessons within a given month and full payment is expected regardless of your planned attendance. STAT Holidays are considered.

Please note:
Lessons landing on September: 1 - 2 and 6 -7 will be optional to take. These dates will be included on the September invoice with 2 payment options available to accommodate your choice on attending these lessons or not. This accommodation is given because these dates fall outside of the academic school calendar.

Join us for an electrifying evening of performances captured in our studio by our amazing piano students! All recordings in this concert have been recorded between January 2026 - August 2026.

For those wishing to play a Christmas tune you should have your personal selection chosen by September 30th! This early deadline is so you have enough time to learn and play a quality performance by the holiday season. Christmas repertoire books will be out by your first lessons in September so the sooner you choose the better! Call dibs on your favorite tune because we don’t have students playing the same tunes.

Playing Christmas songs is completely optional.

ABOUT: One ADDITIONAL 60 minute ensemble class per week outside of your current weekly private lessons. A piano ensemble group will be formed and rehearsals will be scheduled based off of the collective groups availability. Specific schedule will be determined by the end of October and emailed to successful applicants.

GOAL: The goal is to produce ONE ensemble piece to be included in our VIRTUAL concert. Your ensemble group will also be required to perform in our performance class that is only open for students to attend. In all, this is a program designed to have fun creating music with your Piano Academy peers!

DURATION:
4 Weekly Rehearsals during the month of NOVEMBER + 1 Performance Class. All classes are 60 minutes in length.

Your commitment / Attendance is a HIGH PRIORITY - If you cannot guarantee your attendance or if you are unable to commit appropriate practice time to learn your piano part, please avoid applying to this program. Missing a class is not an option. Refunds are not available.

Remember you have other PAYING ensemble members RELYING on you. The assigned piano part is unique to you and everyone in the group plays a crucial role.

CLASS THEME: Halloween - wear your costume - extra treats given to in-person attendees

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This class is designed to allow a safe and welcoming space for enrolled students to share music through performance. A student can share a section of a piece or all of one. They can play it more than once! This is the space where you can shake the nerves with a very understanding audience, your Piano Academy Peers. No one is put on the spot to perform. You may join this class as a supporting audience member. Regardless what your personal goals are this is an excellent opportunity to connect with our piano family and learn more about music. The second half of class is usually reserved to cover a specific music topic.
